Our luxury holiday cottages are located in a breathtaking setting. Situated high up on Lowick Common near Coniston they offer the most stunning, uninterrupted views overlooking the Lakeland mountains and surrounding Lake District National Park countryside. It is a magical place set within in 25 acres of our own pasture land, with visitors commenting it's the most serene, rejuvenating and uplifting place to stay.

Enjoy total isolation, yet be less than four miles from the full amenities of the popular market town of Ulverston.

Put the location and surroundings together with the luxury accommodation and you have the perfect holiday home. It's lovely to visit the 'honey pot' tourist traps, but it is even better to retreat back to Coal Yeat Holiday Cottages and discover the real Lakes.

Perfect for families or couples holidaying together, or why not utilise all our properties for a unique group environment for up to 15 people.

We had the most comfortable stay at Tethera cottage, it was so well equipped that we wanted for nothing. It was the most tranquil setting and we were so pleased that we opted to stay there, despite all the competition in the lakes!
